The Qualification Plan for the Rio Orla Jaguarão aims to preserve the historical heritage, architectural and natural, in addition to providing the highest quality to the public space of the city of Jaguarão, treating in an integrated manner a series of design guidelines and the edge covering, its streets and adjacent spaces. For this, two thematic areas have been defined: zone connected to the central area and historical buildings, which is created an infrastructure that encourages and promotes the use of space by the river, and the areas located to the extreme east and west of the intervention area, where it supports the preservation of the environment together with the provision of infrastructure that contributes to the fishing activity.
The Plan does not present definitive proposals, but it serves as an agenda of actions that seeks to integrate all dimensions of the problem and indicate the solutions to be developed later. moreover, Plan arises to organize all the demands and activities of the area and to support the raising of funds for the implementation of planned projects and actions.
The proposal for the plan is the public space in an integrated manner, taking into account the social dimension and linking this to the economic dimensions, cultural and environmental in order to enable potential and correct imbalances. Set-se, like this, a strategy for the municipal administration to act in an orderly and democratic, performing mutually reinforcing actions where their resources are invested in the form of catalysts for change with greater long-term impact.
