SIDE MOUTH – NATIONAL PLAN FOR INCLUSION AND INTEGRATED DEVELOPMENT

GOALS:
Elaboration of a general plan of urbanization to the banks of the rivers Paraná and Iguazú in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, through an Urban Operation Intercropped, involving the three levels of Government, the private sector and civil society. The goal is to build a structured urban space, integrated and sustainable, to promote border security, valuing the environment, social inclusion, the expansion of the supply of tourism and economic development.

PROPOSAL:
The project Edge Foz reflects local interests, regional and national and was structured taking into account the continuity of existing activities, in order to take advantage of a series of actions already in development and/or planned for the region, and bring the same focus diverse actors. The plan is structured through independent actions, with agents, deadlines and differentiated costs for their implementation. The proposed intervention articulates in four structural axes – Justice and safety, Environment, Tourism and development of the Social and Economic Order – function which is to integrate the actions among themselves and guide their achievement strategically so that each carry benefits in all axes, even if secondary way, fostering synergy between the various agents and promoting mutual benefits to the city.
The active participation of municipal officers, State and federal law was fundamental to the development of guidelines that will subsidize the urban plan, enable the articulation of ongoing actions and reveal precisely the urban problems, indicating possible solutions and Government objectives inherent, ensuring the commitment and joint effort demanded by projects of this order. The 3 c mediate the process, Guide and coordinate teams in search of data, organise events, coordinate the drafting of documents and produce the Partial Report, for this step of the project.
