PROPOSAL

Based on theoretical framework referenced in the master plan of the PTI Itaipu/2008 laying down principles of sustainability in ethical notion of use and reuse of natural and artificial features already installed, the Restoration Project, through the Manual interventions, adopts the notion that conserve, restore and preserve the refectory of the former camp of works from the Itaipu power plant is, without doubt, an option for "impact minus the environment", Besides enabling "harvest time" more a way to evolve in this diversity of options, as a legitimate inheritance of the most various ways to cultivate our habitat.

The work to be performed consists of an integral construction recovery of a set of buildings, with 6,400 m² of constructed area, for feeding purposes, culture and leisure named CAFETERIA PTI/ITAIPU, which at the time of construction of the Itaipu hydroelectric power plant housed the refectory (dining halls, kitchen, cold rooms, etc.) servicing employees and workers (dam-building staff) the work of the power plant. With the new proposed uses, the volume of the ancient halls "C" and "D" will receive the restaurant Refectory.

This building, now called the cafeteria Restaurant will have total area of 2,370 sq ft and will be composed of the ground floor destined mainly to the area of tables and industrial kitchen, but also cover toilets, changing rooms, cold rooms and administration.

The Restaurant's Dining Hall has a total area of 1,370 m² and is defined by two areas of separate tables (a vip and other "common"), both included with buffet, Grilled island, box, return of trays and external area of tables. The main area of tables and buffet have Zenithal lighting, below which the right foot will have 7, 30 m high and in other areas of the restaurant right foot will be 4 feet tall.

The kitchen will have his right foot of 3, 90 m and a total area of 650 m 2 in which cooking zones are included, preparation, cold Chamber, washing, receipt of products, storage, among others.

In other conjugated to the main spaces, composing a total area of 350 m ², are the male toilets, feminine and PNE and also the Equipment room (SEQ).
